Hello Wayne,
I understand your concern. You can reset a schedule automatic scans, go to Settings → Protection → Scheduled scan. If you still unable to reset AVG Schedule scan then I request you to contact our mobile support team, open AVG AntiVirus for Android and tap the menu icon in the top-left corner > Scroll down and tap Help & Support. > Tap FAQs 5 times. > In the form, provide your email address, the detailed issue description. Then click Submit to send your message. Our mobile support team will contact you soon with a resolution.

I have an android phone (Samsung S5), and cannot seem to find where to reset the daily scan time.  I inadvertently set it during set-up to PM, when I really wanted AM. 

Please, does someone have this info and is willing to share?
