OK, This sent to AVG after as requested by AVG 10 minute talk on AVG phone help. No reply after 2 weeks!!!!
On 10th December 2023 I subscribed to a one-year subscription to AVG tune up for the price of $34.07 AUD per year.
Since then, I have been charged that amount again on 10th Jan 24 and 10th Feb 24.
If allowed to continue this would amount to a charge in excess of $408 per year for something still available for a fraction of that amount.
I can log in to my AVG account page and see the subscription using the email address used here and my AVG password.
Attached are screenshots of both the way the subscription/transaction appears on my AVG account page AND the way it appears on my bank statement.
On the bank statement it appears as being to PADDLE.NET* RCMGROUPIN LONDON. Used by AVG for payments. They advise that this is for AVG tune up subscription.
Trying t avoid any repeat of this rubbish, I have followed the instructions on my AVG account page to immediately cancel the subscription. But when I get to "manage subscription", the "cancel subscription" option does not appear - as stated it should, in the help page instructions.
To avoid any further action on this matter of a legal or publicity nature, please now IMMEDIATELY:
1. Cancel the subscription
2. Ensure that no further payment is taken.
3. Refund the payments wrongly taken for January and February 2024
