Charged for a subscription which doesn't show up on my account and I never received a confirmation email

I was charged for a year of Internet Security and I wanted to get a refund but when I checked my account, it displayed no active subscription and I had no payment information linked to my account. On the AVG Internet Security application for windows it displays my active subscription and I am able to use the service but when I check My Subscriptions in my account page, it does not display any active subscription. On top of that I never received any confirmation email so when I contacted AVG Support through phone, I was not able to provide an order ID and the agent was not able to help me. Support also told me that the email that I provided had no account linked to it which is not true as I was logged into the account at the time. I am certain that I did not use a different email when I purchased the product and the email I used for my account was the same one I provided because I am actively getting promotional emails from AVG and I got a “Confirm Email Address” email from them as well. I would like to understand why my subscription is not appearing on my account, why I did not receive a confirmation email, and how I can go about getting a refund for this subscription.

I resolved this issue by contacting AVG support again and sorting it out.
