Chrome won't load after AVG update

So because AVG updated, I have to throw away all of my saved browser settings, all of my automatic passwords, all of my bookmarks… To see if maybe that will fix whatever AVG did?

Last night AVG had me do a restart to complete an update. Since that restart, Google Chrome will not launch under my primary (Admin) profile, but it still works if I log on as a different user.
Disabling AVG components or temporarily disabling AVG completely had no effect. 
Thunderbird works fine.
