I understand the inconvenience.
I assure you that the update of AVG Antivirus will not add other third party application or browser search engines.
The "Cleanserp.net" might have got installed from other source.
However, we will help you to remove it. Please right click on "Google Chrome" desktop icon and select "Properties"
In the Target field you can find the path of Google Chrome .exe file which will be "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"
If the path has any additional text please remove only the additional one and make sure that the path is like mentioned above.
Finally click on Apply and Ok.
Open Google Chrome and check whether the issue gets resolved.
Thanks AVG … So youve provided an update that Disables the protection you are supposed to Provide.
…and now Chrome Search is Hi-Jacked by cleanserp.net , thats pretty awesome !
Think i'll Just Run Malware Bytes from now on :-/
