Hi Dennis,

We understand your concern, unfortunately, we don't have any option to Update the Virus definitions from Command Line. You can manually update it from the AVG Internet Security Interface using these steps :
1. Open the AVG Internet Security Interface
2. Click on "Menu">Settings
3. Inside settings you will find a tab called "Update"
4. Click on the "Update" tab and then you can manually update the Virus Definitions from there.

Really? Do you mean that for XP only? And, BTW, what are the scheduled tasks in Windows 7 that call the following executables:

AvEmUpdate.exe

avgsetupx.exe /eu

?
