Communications blocked to computer

Trying scan from my Epson WF to my computer gets a blocked communication message. This started after I installed the AVG Firewall.

Hi Bill,

Are you able to scan when AVG Firewall is turned off?
If yes, please open AVG Internet Security program window.
Click on "Menu->Settings->Full Protection->Enhanced Firewall".
Click on the check box that says "enable internet connection sharing mode".
Click on "system rules" and then enable all categories on it.
Refer this article and follow the steps as mentioned under "defined network profiles" and change the profile to "Private".
Please check the status with scanner and keep us posted.
