i got a very nice reply from customer support on a different issue so i’m hoping for that again here, unfortunately avg couldn’t find some adware on my computer while out of safe boot so i safe booted it, and now avg isn’t able to open because it’s compatible with windows 8 not 10? it is in compatibility mode on windows 8 atm, but im unable to change it as i just can’t, they’re light grey and i can’t click them so it makes me think it’s an administration problem but im unsure how to resolve it and how to google a solution. any help appreciated

Thank you for the reply.I have gone through your description and found your primary concern is about adwarewill sure help you check in this matter.
Please do restart your computer in normal mode and see if AVG program opens.Adwares mostly reside with in browser.Please check all the installed extensions of your browser. If you noticed some unknown extensions present in your browser,do remove it. After removing the unwanted extensions obseve your computer. Please check and share your observations.Awaiting your response.
unfortunately i can't attach an image i'm using my phone while my computers in safe boot mode and i don't have internet on it right now to take and send the screenshot, and i'm not sure why but uploding an image just doesn't seem to work on the phone because when u press insert it doesn't seem to do anything. i'm sorry is there anything else i can do? the best way i can describe it is when you go into compatibility mode area of properties for avg internet protection, i don't have the option to choose or change anything to do with compatibility, like the options are there, they are just light grey and unchangeable for me, thanks again
