Sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. The UI failed message occurs when the installation gets corrupted. Please try to Repair "AVG" (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG )from the Control panel and check the status.
Also, I have checked the case number, you have contacted our remote technicians regarding AVG Secure VPN issue. Our senior technicians had sent you an email on May 29, 2017 to get connected to them remotely to resolve it.

THOUGHT I WOULD CONTACT AVG FIRST ABOUT COMPUTER SLOWING DOWN .
