I regret for the inconvenience caused to you. Do you see any error message on AVG interface saying "restart required" or "restart your PC to activate all features"? Please try to repair AVG once and check if that helps. To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:
Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG Internet Security in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.

In last two weeks I got a major upgrade to AVG. Since then each time I start-up it reboots itself. I try the diagnostics but get nothing. Sure points to a problem with the upgrade. Help. How can I get back to the earlier version of AVG?
