Thank you for your reply. It's the AVG Antivirus programme, 2 year version. The programme is telling me the computer & web need updating. When I try to update, the error message is:
C:\Program Files\AVG\Framework\1\avglogx.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.
The programme has more than a year to go before I need to renew it. I'm running it on Windows 10.

I request you to completely reinstall AVG Antivirus using the AVG Remover Tool.
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C: drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.

My AVG programme tells me that a computer update is required, it would appear through the AVG programme. However, when I try to update, an error message comes up. How can I overcome this problem please?
