The computer times out every web page, even this one took 7 minutes and 3 attempts to load, IMAP times out making emails useless. I'm thinking I made a mistake buying AVG, the only fix I know for sure is to reformat the drive, reload windows. I know that works because I did it yesterday and the computer worked great, emails worked all good until I put in the activation code. Anyone else experienced this ?

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm 100% certain it's avg causing it, It's a 64bit windows 10. I'm going to reformat it again tomorrow. Although I've paid for the full suite I will only load the basic avg free. We just can't use the computer with the full avg on it. We don't have very fast internet, in peak times it's 10mbit/sec download and 1.5mits/sec upload. I think this is reason we are slowed down so much.
