Does anyone have experience in connecting a camera to a laptop via wifi? The Sony website is a little vague… It suggests a pair of ports to be opened (a UDP and a TCP port) and ensuring private networks can pass through the fire wall. I have, I think, managed to added the ports but the camera still isn't getting the connection. Any thought on the private network thing or any other suggestions?

Please try to make the below changes in AVG firewall settings and check if that resolves the issue.
Open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Network Profile and change it to Private.
Open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Policies->System Rules and set all rules to "Enabled".
