After performing faultlessly, My AVG Secure VPN is now reluctant to start up. The error message is "VPN ran into a technical problem," and that it "is not possible to make a connection." After several exits and restarts, the option to turn on the VPN does appear. My modem remains powered on all the time but I do turn my computer off when I finish a session. Any ideas? I could uninstall/re-install but i worry that this would effect my subsription.

The uninstall/re-install went quickly and the steps were very easy to follow so thank you for that.
As I fully expected, despite having an active subscription for another five months, I was asked to pay or start a free 7-day trial. The application starts normally as it used to so I my issue seems resolved. I will be checking in another few days to see if my previous subscription is still valid or not.
