In that case, please run the AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Once uninstalled please follow the instructions on the article http://avgread.me/1DXPL5z to reinstall your AVG program.

AVG or Win10 did an update this afternoon whilst the laptop was idle and now on restart AVG reports "that an error occurred when saving the configuration, connection is off line".
When I go to the main page of the AVG showing the active components, they are all in red and are marked "Unknown". If I click on one of them the buttons behind are shown as green but they dont appear to be working.

Win10 does not give me the option to repair. It tells me the AVG apps were "Unavailable" as of 22nd December 2015". The only option I have is to 1) Modify or 2) Uninstall.
I have a 4 PC licence for AVG Internet Security 2015, but this is the first time I have turned them on since 22nd December.
