Yes, this is usual behavior and the latest program version of AVG AntiVirus or AVG Internet Security is 19.8.4257.548.
AVG application will periodically keep checking for updates automatically and installs if there is an update available.

Hi, can you confirm me if is normal the continuous update of compilation for the last days. In four days i see 3 times the restart button on my AVG Internet Security,

Wednesday i have the compilation 19.8.XXXX.545
Thurdays i restart to the compilation 19.8.4257.546
Saturday i restart to the compilation 19.8.4793.547
And today, sunday, i must restart to complete the instalation of the compilation 19.8.4257.548

This isn't normal but i must ask if is that what is supossed to happen. This constant change of compilation during the last week make me confused.

I only want to be confimed for any AVG representative that this behavior is necessary and for how long it will occur.
