This could be due to traces from previous installation is blocking the installation. I'd request you to run AVG Clear and Remover tools to remove the remnants from previous installation and try the installation.

I recently upgraded my AVG subscription to AVG ultimate for 5 or 6 computers. Today I uninstalled AVG on two computers for updates. One successfully reinstalled without any issues but on the other I have an installation failed sign at completion with an error code 0xC0070643. How do I resolve??
