Very disappointed/frustrated... several days ago went on this forum with problem on my paid 2015 Internet Security: "updates failed, bin file missing, your computer & web are not fully protected". I did a multitude of things offered by the AVG tech staff -- 1) deleted temporary updates, 2) did an AVG repair, 3) uninstalled AVG twice (first using windows uninstaller AND again with downloaded AVG uninstaller tool). 4) reinstalled AVG twice.
Nothing works! Why do ALL the updates keep failing. They run, fail, then tell me "update required".. I'm all out of ideas and patience. I feel this "update failing" issue that me and loads of other customers are experiencing is on AVG's side, and am very disappointed I have a paid product that shows I am not protected. Sad, as I really liked the way AVG has worked for me since March 2014, until now.
