Please be informed that the popup you received is the legit campaign for "AVG Secure VPN" product.
To know more about AVG Secure VPN product, please refer this (FAQ).
Since you already have the paid version of AVG Internet Security, campaign popups for other AVG products can be stopped.
Open AVG Internet Security dashboard, click on "Menu–>Settings–>General–>Popups".
Uncheck the box that says "stop campaign for other AVG products" and finally click Ok.

I am informed that I have full-on protection and that AVG doesn't actually cover all they say they do because they inform me almost daily that people can see what I'm doing anyway. Is AVG a falsehood of abuse to customers or a childish misinformer. Do I need to find a more honest and real provider, as it would seem that AVG only has one agenda about over funding themselves and actually not looking after what they claim to be doing…A falsehood, there must be a body that can curb these people properly or is the whole sham just that?
