One of the exception from disabling campaign popup is that the latest AVG Internet Security 2017 version virus scan will have "Performance issues" scan in it. The performance issues can be resolved if you purchase the license for AVG PC Tuneup. If you aren't interested to resolve those issues then you can click on "SKIP" on the scan result window that appears. If you purchase AVG PC TuneUp and installed it then you will not get the performance scan on the virus scan that you initiate from AVG Internet Security.

On October 16, 2016 I purchased license number AM73F-MBFC6-6G7JM-QUG2K-J33MF-F and throughout the year I kept receiving messages that I needed to buy additional protection, i.e. to protect my credit card numbers … to improve speed, etc. It would appear that the coverage I purchased in 2016 (and in previous years) is inadequate. What is the cost to obtain full coverage for my computer so that I no longer receive these additional requests to keep buying more coverage from AVG?

1) If you install the AVG Internet Security program that you purchased then you will be getting the campaign popups for other AVG products.
If you have 2017 version installed then you can disable the campaign popups for other AVG products from the settings:
a) Open AVG Internet Security dashboard and click on "Menu–>Settings–>General"
b) Click on "Popups" and untick the checkbox "Disable popups for other AVG products"
