Couldn't open Microsoft Excel until I uninstalled AVG

Anyone have any advice? Would like to reinstall AVG but can't get blocked out of Excel

I uninstalled both. Tune up was just purchased recently so I'm assuming that was the problem. No issue when I just had Security.  The message error was from Microsoft and it featured  026.  Cant get back to duplicate it since its working since I uninstalled AVG products.
