Your “answer” is incomprehensible. This problem has existed for months. Previously I alerted you to the fact that Deep Scan would quit after reaching 11% complete. I got no response at all. Lately there seems to be improvement: now it hangs up at 12%. I have left the stalled scan running for hours and it never got past 11%, or now 12%. Please don’t insult me by telling me the program is not starting. It is. To add another insult to injury, when I finally the click on the “stop” button the program asks if I really want to stop because the scan is not finished. I am becoming increasingly nervous that your software as a whole is in a similar buggy state. I give you permission to rummage around in my computer because I trust you. That trust is now hanging by a thread.

In this regard, please try repairing the AVG program to check if it helps.
