Deep Scan Stops at 28%

Tks for the link, but not everyone is , TECH SAVVY.   We subscribe to a Paid Subscription thinking we will not encounter problems compare to a Free Version.  But there is not much difference lately, one problem crops up after another.  I have 2 laptops and both are using AVG Internet Security, license version.  How come only 1 is giving this problem??  Both also on Windows10.  If the problem is with 'C:\avast! sandbox' , why can't your technical programers check and solve this problem. I just uninstall AVG again and reinstall but the problem still persits.  Tks.


Hello Avinash, I did stop and run again many times, same problem.  When I stop and return to main panel, the panel shows as the above photo attach earlier,  Deep Scan seems to to running again as shown.  When select Deep Scan again, it starts as 0% and then stop at 28%.  I am attaching the screen shot of the latest scan I did.  Tks. User-added image

Already tried repair AVG and also tried reinstall but this problem is not solved. Deep Scan stops at 28% and normal message shows 'No Malware detected'.   Did not have this problem before.  The main AVG panel always shows that a scan is in progress at the top.  Enclosing screenshots taken of last file scan before it stops and main AVG panel. Tks.

Kathleen, sorry to hear that the issue persists.
I would request you to check and remove "C:\avast! sandbox" folder from your PC.
Please refer to the instructions provided by "Frank James" in a similar thread (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9065p000000gjsN).

We suggested you to check for 'C:\avast! sandbox' folder because you it fitted the description of the other user.
