Defragmentation stuck?

Hi I'm having a similar issue too. It's been defragging for 24 hours (and it's set as fast defragmentation in settings)

the question is. Does computer going to sleep or auto hibernate interfere with the defragging process?

Hello Beth,
We understand that the disk defragmentation stuck is taking long time. Please do not worry, this is usual with disk defrag to take time. This depends on the disk size and amount of data in your computer. Please do not worry, we suggest you to continue the disk defrag and let us know if you still have any problem.
Thank you.

I began AVG PC TuneUp this morning and it has been running for about 45 minutes on the defragmentation module.  The other modules finished relatively quickly.  Is it stuck in defragmentation mode?  Should I cancel it?

Hello Peng,

I can understand your concern. When the computer goes into sleep mode, all the process are stopped that are running in your computer background. Please make sure your computer is not put to sleep mode while you run the disk defragmentation. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

Hello Beth,
We do understand your concern. However. we do not have an exact time frame for the disk defragmentation process to complete. If you think that this is taking very long, you can cancel the disk defrag. After that you can go to settings->one click maintenance at the bottom of the disk defrag, you can see an option to change the drop down to fast defrag. Change the defrag settings and then initiate the system defragmentation.
Thank you.

How long is too long?  When it started and I saw the visual showing how much needed to be processed, the "colored boxes" went across one row and part of another - in other words not much space has been used. Thx.
