Deleted avg desktop icon in error, win 8.1

Hi Allison. If you open up the start menu, hover over all programs, hover over AVG 2014/2015, and right click on the icon, you will see an option that will allow you to create a shortcut.Simply left click on this option and a desktop icon should be created.

Hi, I accidentally trashed my avg desktop icon but now need it as have to boot in safe mode to make sure a virus is fully removed. I have win 8.1 64 bit. How do I get it back? I have the paid personal version. Thanks!
