I have place 2 orders for renewing the license of AVG Ultimate, and on each the Digital River is charging a tax without specified that in the order or when you complete the payment. For example, for amount of 79 USD I was charged by a tax of 15 USD.
Please correct this, if you are charged by any tax, you should know before you complete the order, not to discover that you have been charged more that is specify in the order.
I purchased renewal of licence for AVG internet security on 8 December 2017 from Digital River Ireland Sydney for 68.86 Australian as shown on my visa account. I have now received an account and licence renewal from AVG which expires on 22 March 2018. Have I been scammed from Digital River. Please advise.

This company continuously takes money from customers without giving any heads up that their payment is going to be taken, making it extremely difficult to cancel beforehand. Stay away if you don't want to be ripped off.

I see that you have active AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) purchased and it expires on 10th December 2018.
It seems that you have AVG Antivirus free installed and hence activation steps has to be followed to get paid AVG Internet Security subscription.
Click on Menu option on AVG Antivirus free dashboard and select "About–>Subscriptions".
If you have your email address displayed in it, click on "Log out".
If you get option as "Log into account", click on it and enter your AVG my account credentials.
Wait for 2-3 minutes to check whether it activates to AVG Internet Security and correct expiry date should be appearing.
Keep us informed about the status.
Digital River attached my Paypal account on 8/29/2019 continuosly for 7 attachments until 11.19/2019 totaling $442.96 with no benefits to me. Looks like to they like to rip off 86 year old people.
