I have an issue where if I go full screen on specific programs (not all apparently), the brightness gets DRASTICALLY dim to the point where it's hard to see in bright lighting. I did some research and it says that it deals with "Economy Mode" in AVG TuneUp. I tried to turn it off myself, but I can't find where.
What do I do from here?

We're glad to look into this & help you. From your description, it seems that TuneUp doesn't cause this issue.
However, Economy mode is only available in the older version of TuneUp. Please let us know the version installed on your computer (Open TuneUp - Menu - About).
Alternately, you can try the Do not disturb mode in AVG protection program to check if it helps (Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - Settings - Tools - Do not disturb mode)
