In the last two weeks AVG has detected threats of some sort about three times when I was working in Outlook. Supposedly these threats were successfully removed. Today AVG removed a threat but after the operation Outlook was no longer on my hard drive anywhere to be found.
Is this kind of weirdness possible, and if so, any suggestions? I don't like to contemplate dealing with Microsoft to get a re-download of Office whatever year I had.
Thank you,
John Cant, Fremont, CA
Hi John,
This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program.
If you suspect that AVG has removed Outlook from your computer, you can check the Quarantine of AVG program. (Open AVG - Menu - Quarantine).
Meanwhile, also check if Outlook is listed in the programs list (Goto control panel - Programs - Programs & Features).
