Let me help you with this. Please be informed that first time defragmentation will take some time to complete. The time taken for defragmentation also depends on space used in your hard disk.
Please skip the defragmentation option in Maintenance scan by going to AVG PC TuneUp->Maintenance settings icon(gear wheel icon) in Maintenance tab->1-click maintenance tab->uncheck 'Defragment disk' option and click 'apply' to save changes.
Once you are done with that, you can also defragment by going to All functions tab in AVG PC TuneUp->Hard disks-> Defragment disk.
It will show the estimated time and progress of defragmentation.
Why is the disk fragmentation taking so long??? My computer is only a little over 3 months old, I have windows 10, is it stuck? If so why and what do I do about it???
