In order to make aware of our other products and its use, this feature is added as a campaign. A lot of our customers benefitted through this service. If you do not want to purchase that product and if you feel your device performs good, you can just ignore the pop-up. However, AVG will provide complete protection for your device.
We also have option to disable pop-up in AVG program privacy settings. Refer the below article to resolve the issue with pop-up:

Hi Guys
I am increasingly concerned about AVG diversifying their product and services - creating "new products" or "features" - by basically taking a tool of feature out from what previously was included in a comprehensive protection tool, and then present and sell it as an "new" tool or service for a "specific" purpose. This has become quite annoying over the past few years and quite frankly, it makes me feel exploited. In fact, I suspect that my pc gets invaded with some malware of kind creating an issue, just for AVG shortly after miraculously presents a solution for that identical issue. Mmmm??
I am considering dumping AVG all together. What is your experience?
