Do I need to uninstall McAfee before installing AVG

We're glad to clarify this for you.
There cannot be multiple antivirus on the same computer, as they'll compete for resources, conflict with each other & none will work effectively.
In this regard, we'd suggest you to uninstall McAfee, before proceeding to install AVG Ultimate bundle.
