Do I need Windows Smartscreen and AVG Internet Security?

We checked the details and apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this issue. As per the details it seems that you have AVG Internet Security which is valid until 7-6-2017.
In this case, as you are not protected I will suggest you to uninstall and then install the AVG Internet Security.
To uninstall please run the AVG Remover too; http://files-download.avg.com/util/tools/AVG_Remover.exe
After the remover tool please restart the PC and then follow the below link to install the AVG Internet Security.

Hi. My PC is getting slower and slower to boot up and I also keep seeing Windows Security alerts saying that my PC is not protected… I notice that Windows Smartscreen and all the elements of my paid-for AVG Internet security are switched on so do I need them all and are they slowing each other down (as has been discussed on other threads), please?

Can I just turn off Windows Smartscreen given that AVG software/web/computer protection should be doing the same job?
