I downloaded the free trial version in 2011. It comes with a program which says will unisntall it but it does not. It gets half way throught the process then cites a licencing error. What kind of licence does one need to remove a program? I highly recomend that anyone considering purchasing this malware choose a better security program.
The staff are unresponsive. I have called and waited for over an hour and still could speak to nobody. This is an internet scam. Read the reviews, nobody is recomending this program. It will be stuck on your computer, then it will mark everything you download as a virus so you can't open it. You can't replace it with another program as a result.
I will share this in every forum I can find. In fact, google "I can't uninstall AVG and see for yourself how many people have this same problem, This company is not legitimate and will only cause you regret. Avoid at all costs
I can't give a worse review if I tried. It is beyond garbage, it is worse than malware, you would be better off intentionally infecting your computer with a virus than to download this trash

- Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
Please be informed that any antivirus would think some legitimate application on your PC as a threat inorder to protect the PC, so that is the reason some programs are detected and removed as threat by AVG. However, we can add those applications to AVG's exception by following the instructions in this link: http://avgread.me/18WB2dg and also submit us the sample via http://www.avg.com/submit-sample .
