Does anyone know how to open AVG Password Protector?

Well, the AVG dashboard I have does not have the features you describe. My address is not there, nor the connect option. Maybe the panel I have is not AVG Dashboard. How do I get it?

I understand how difficult this is for you. I see from your record that you have an active subscription of AVG Password Protection. Please open AVG dashboard installed in your computer and at the top right corner, you can either see your email address or connect option. Please click on your email address, select "Leave the Network" and sign in back to your AVG MyAccount. Or if you see "Connect" option, please click on the same and sign in to your AVG MyAccount. After you sign in to your account, please check if the AVG program gets activated.

It may have been a mistake to buy this thing. When I click on the AVG icon on my desktop, what appears is not like the dashboard in the instructions. I tells me to buy the Password Protector, which I have bought but can't open

Nup. I clicked on the little house. My taskbar says this is AVG Zen, but there is no e-mail address or e-mail option.

If you are looking at AVG Anti Virus or AVG Internet Security interface, please click on small 'Home' icon at the top left hand corner to open AVG Zen dashboard. Then follow the steps provided by Karthikeyan to complete the activation.
