Does AVG can have conflict with other apps?

Hello Rabia,
You've reached the AVG community support forum.
I would like to inform you that AVG does not have any conflicts with common applications like Browsers or office software. If Instander clone is a legit application AVG will not be blocking this app.

I highly recommend you that only one antivirus program installed on your computer. Having more than one antivirus on the computer can cause many different issues. Often the most common issue being a confliction between the different antivirus program causing your computer to become unprotected.

It also slows down your computer fighting for your computer resources. If you have two antivirus programs running simultaneously, they could engage in a tussle over who gets to scan, report, and remove the virus.

This added activity could cause your computer to crash or use up your device's memory. Please uninstall any or all third party antiviruses from your computer except AVG Antivirus. There is no specific settings of AVG to avoid conflict with Gaming or Social media applications.

If the Gaming or Social Media applications is legit, it will not be blocked by AVG or considered as threat. I hope this helps resolve your doubt ! If you’re still having any trouble, or have any questions, feel free to message me. I’d be happy to help.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, I'm currently using AVG antivirus and I'm concerned about potential conflicts with other applications on my computer. Specifically, I'm wondering if AVG generally conflicts with commonly used applications like browsers and office software, I have also installed some social customized apps in my laptop like Instander clone. if there are known issues when running AVG alongside other security software, and if users have experienced system slowdowns or performance issues when AVG is active. Additionally, I would like to know if there are specific considerations or settings to avoid conflicts while gaming or using Social media applications. Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
