Don't think the AVG / VPN works

Hello Wendy,

We are really sorry to know this.
We will check and help you to resolve this issue.
Websites often attempt to identify the location of their visitors from their IP address, a process called IP geolocation. IP geolocation uses a database that pairs together IP address ranges and geographical information. The information in this database can be inaccurate for several reasons and the major reason is some websites (Google, for example) maintain their own databases based on what user traffic came from the IP address in the past.
Kindly check the IP address before and after connecting to AVG Secure VPN in the VPN homepage.
We would request you to reset all your accounts password and set up the 2 step verification.
If you suspect that your location is not properly hidden, or if a website reports that your location is incorrect, refer to the following article for detailed troubleshooting steps: | AVG (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Check-Location-Hidden&supportType=home
Thank you and keep us updated.

I first paid $39.99 for AVG Premium services. I had 4 accounts of mine hacked: Facebook, Instagram, Yahoo email, and Etsy accounts.  After finding out that AVG Premium services do not secure my IP address which makes me vulnerable to hackers, I went ahead and purchased the additional AVG / VPN for $47.88 more.
Upon researching suspicious activities on my hacked accounts, I was able to obtain the hacker's IP address and went to a website that allows you to enter any IP addresses and it will tell you the geographical location for that IP address. Before I even entered the hacker IP address, the website was able to display my IP address, location, and Internet provider service information. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN IF I'M SUPPOSE TO BE PROTECTED FROM THAT HAPPENING?  WHAT DID I PAY THE ADDITIONAL $47.88 FOR?  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME? I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN RIPPED OFF!
