And to update your AVG Antivirus I request you to follow the below steps
1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link:For 32-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2015_5501.exe
For 64-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.

NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

I have Downloaded, and Uninstalled, both the FREE AVG Anti-Virus, and AVG PC Tune-up [paid for this one], a total of 3 times, but each time they failed, and all I got was a message saying "Couldn't reach update server".I am permanently linked to my ISP. I have been an AVG user for over 10 yrs, and not having any problems with Downloading, and Installing Programs, until now.It is very frustrating, and annoying. Any good, workable solutions, will be accepted with great pleasure.Thanking you in advance.
