I bought a driver update as AVG told me drivers were out of date. I installed it and now my pen drives don't work. I insert them and it says 'working on it' then this device is not recognised and is corrupt. I have work from as far back at 2013 on them which I need for my job as a sports coach. I transferred the contents of one pen drive on an old laptop to another drive and it worked once, then I got the corrupt message next time. Have I updated my drivers (said 6 out of date) to a version that will not recognise old windows formats? Money wasted, have I lost the ability to recover my files or any suggestions to 'uncorupt' them and get them recognised?
