I've been an AVG customer for over 30 years. and been happy with the programs and service until I ran into this problem.
Last week I had some assistance with you folks in uninstalling a corrupted AVG Internet Security program. I then purchased and downloaded a new version of Internet Security only to discover that I now have two subscriptions for this product. One from the original program with an expiration date of 3/25/22 and the other with an expiration date of 1/8/23. Is it possible for me to extend the expiration date on the 1/8/23 program using the days that I have left with the 3/25/22 program?
A few weeks ago I started getting AVG popups with an offer to purchase AVG Tuneup, AVG Driver Updater and Battery Saver together for a $40 savings. I assumed that the expiration dates for the Driver Updater and Tuneup were probably close to being expired and that buying this package would extend the days that were left on the programs that I already had. (Driver Updater: 10/1/22 & Tuneup 4/12/2022). Bad assmption! Now I have duplicate subscriptions for Driver Updater and Tuneup with the new subscriptions expiring 1/7/2024. So basically I'm losing several weeks of coverage that I paid for since the original subscriptions that I had will all run out before the duplicates…
Incidentally, when I ordered this 3 for 1 package I also didn't take notice that I would have no use for Battery Saver since I am only operating with a desktop PC. Stupid decision on my part.
Unfortunately I don't have any friends or family who would be willing to take over any of these subscriptions, so at this point I 'm pretty much stuck.
