Martin, we understand your concern.
We are sorry, our hands are tied in this matter.
Generally a 30 days refund policy applies to the purchase of AVG software. You are entitled to a refund, if it is requested within this time period.
Since your request came after the 30 days, we are unable to offer you a refund for your purchase or a prorated refund.
If you wish, we can process refund for the recent order of AVG PC TuneUp.
However, you can submit a refund request on the link below.

Thank you for understanding.
in april 2016 i took out tune up - already having free antivirus. later that year in september i converted free antivirus to ultimate, not realising that ultimate included tune up. since then it seems that i have been auto renewed every year for both meaning that since 2017 i have been in effect paying for tune up twice. this morning after auto renewing tune up i found that tune up was a trial version so reinstalled with the id in the confirmation email. I then realised on subscription page that there were two instances of tune up. in long chat with an AVG person this morning they acknowledged that i had two instances and suggested incorporating them and they would refund the 2020 renewal amount but would not refund the 2017-2019 renewal amounts for the years when my ultimate subscription covered tune up. i tried to get a complaint contact but they would not give me one. any suggestions? email addresses?
so when i extended my subscription in 2016 to ultimate, it obviously was not clear to a normal person that ultimate also included tune up and since then i have believed that as the september renewal is for "ultimate" and april for "tune up" these are two separate items that do not overlap. Now i am told that they do overlap. So Avast/AVG are happy to have taken four renewals for tune up knowing that this is not necessary as i already have that through ultimate subscription? And further you are happy not to refund this additional payment even though the payments were not necessary and in error? So i have given you four renewal payments of £30+ for absolutely nothing… and you have no guilt about that?
