Hello John. Could you please let me know if you are using an email client to like Outlook, windows live mail to check your email or it is a web based email?
Hello Avinash. Thanks for contacting me. I think it is web based - I am with Tiscali (TalkTalk) and use the Mozilla Firefox platform
I have the subscription AVG protection which includes e-mail/identity protection.
Just recently I have been receiving MAIL DELIVERY FAILURE messages for e-mails to German language sites, which I personally have not sent. Despite having protection, I am assuming that my e-mail address has been hacked and is being used to send spam.
How can I deal with this? Please keep explanations simple as my computer literacy is fairly basic - Many thanks in anticipation. Regards, John

John, thank you for the information. Please note that AVG does not scan emails which does not download to your PC (which is the case in web based email). I would suggest you to update your AVG program to latest updates and perform a whole computer scan. I also recommend you to uninstall all unknown/unused programs.
