E-mail asking me to 'Join AVG'

Hi Alastair,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Upon checking your account, you do have an active subscription of AVG protection. 
As we're uncertain about the exact notification that you receive, please share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.

Can anyone tell me why I should be receiving e-mails from AVG asking me to join, telling me I have only so many hours left to take up an offer and so on, when I am a long standing and still current customer and user of AVG.
It is a bit annoying.

It seems that you have received an email offering AVG Internet Security product for discounted price and if you wish, you can get that offer.
Since you already have a valid subscription of AVG Internet Security for Windows, request you to kindly ignore this mail.

Thank you. I'd be more impressed if your AVG systems stopped e-mails of this nature being sent to existing AVG Customers. Surely that is not beyond digital capabilities.
