After uninstalling AVG the laptop will go back to normal mode. However if you are using Windows 8 in your pc please follow the below steps :
- On the Start screen, press the "Windows + C" keys to open the charms bar.
- Select "Search" from the charms bar.
- In the search field type "eco".
- Under "Apps" select "eco Utility" to open.
- When the "eco Utility" window opens, select "Battery Life Cycle" tab on the left.
- Turn eco Charge Mode ON or OFF as desired (default is "Off").
- Select "Close" to set the option selected and close the eco Utility.
- After selecting "Close" you will be instructed to discharge the battery to approximately 50% at least once without plugging in the AC adapter.
Thank you.

Good Day,
Gulam kindly responded to my previous post regarding disconnecting Economy Mode after I had uninstalled AVG Performance.
Gulam advised I needed to manually adjust…however, I am not sure how to do this…
Can you please help/advise ?
Thanks
John
