Hello Peter,
Sorry to hear that. AVG has released an upgrade with new Interface. Please try to install Anti- spam feature to fix the issue.
To install Anti-spam,
Open AVG- AVG Internet security - Menu(Top right corner with three horizontal lines)- Settings - Components - Install Anti- spam (till the bar code completes) and restart the PC.
Once you restart , please check the Outlook and get back to us if you the issue persists.

after update my outlook spam is not being deleted
