The instructions that you received via email is actually for old version of AVG.
We are working to implement the new activation instruction via email. Your patience is much appreciated.
Please refer this (article) to activate latest version of AVG Internet Security.
NOTE: Follow the steps mentioned under "Activate with a license number (1-10 PCs)".
