Email received and sent to junk mail in Outlook

When senders email address is added to the AVG white list the Email message is dealt with
correctly by Outlook

Hello Stephen. Could you please let me know what is the result after adding the sender's email address to AVG white list?

I have AVG security 2013
I receive Email from a sender which is sent straight into my junk mail folder in Outlook
At the same time a message is sent back to this sender "was deleted without being read " on date
However on adding this sender to the whitelist in AVG these messages are dealt with correctly
How can this be as it is rather embarassing to me
The sender asks for a read receipt which I have disabled in Outlook

Hello Stephen. This is usually caused when the senders email is recognized as spam. Could you please us with the domain name (after @) of the senders e-mail so that we could assist you better?
