Alan I understand that, but note the part where the the threat report shows no emails scanned in the last 30 days; It isnt saying the emails were scanned and some malware got through, its saying it hasnt scanned any email!!

Did you tried enable email scanner certification to see if they are scanned?

Hi, I think the AVG email scanner isnt working, the notifications pop up but all attachments from the "please examine this invoice / delivery note" scam emails are untouched; in addition, the threat report shows no emails scanned in the last 30 days.

  • AVG Free version 2015 (note I upgraded from 2014 to see if the issue would go away)
  • OS is  Windows XP
  • Mail Client is Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5512
  • None of my email accounts use SSL
  • None of the accounts are gmail etc where I have seen special instructions
