Hello,
I am using AVG Free version and the Email Shield is blocking thunderbird from receiving new emails. When I turn email shield off, everything works as expected, when I turn it on, thunderbird won't receive any new emails.
I have tried:
- setting up ports and settings in the hidden geek:area
- deleting all AVG related certificates in thunderbird and importing back the one generated using geek:area
- fully uninstalling AVG using their uninstaller and installing AVG back
- searching the internet for help and trying the above
Still, nothing.
Anyone any idea how to fix this?

I have also tried longing into this forum with google account but that does not work and I cannot even delete that AVG account registered using google, because I did not receive any password and I wasn't asked for it neither but deleting account requires itβ¦
And chat support didn't care about any of this, as I didn't provide a registered email to paid/trial version. Of course.
