Emails being blocked

We regret the inconvenience caused, AVG Free doesn't have firewall features. Let's check if the issue caused because of AVG.

Please disable Email shield and check if you receives the same error. Open AVG Antivirus Free -> Menu -> Settings -> Components -> Email Shield -> turn off to disable it.

Win 7 64 bit - using EM Client for emails  and AVG Free - been getting this message for a few days "[IMAP] An attempt to connect to L******@gmail.com has failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings ?"  Someone from EM support suggested allowing IMAP connections in firewall - can't find out how to do this in AVG Free - any suggestions please ?
