Mostly this error is due to the previously installed AVG program or anyother Antivirus program installed on your system.
Is there any other Antivirus program or AVG program installed on your system? If so, please uninstall it and try to install AVG Program.

AVG Error 0xC0070643 22052016
 
I’m having a nightware trying to resolve this error.
I’ve run AVG_BFEfix.exe but still get the error when installing AVG_Protection_Free_698.exe.
I’ve run avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe then tried to reinstall AVG_Protection_Free_698.exe.
Still get the error.
My O/S is Win 7 Pro x64 with SP1.
How do I resolve this please?

The only anti-virus software I have run on my computer has been AVG and I uninstalled the previous release (and deleted the AVG folders) prior to trying to install AVG_Protection_Free_698.exe.
I am a Computer Technician so I'm familiar with uninstalling software.
What do you suggest I try next please?
